Deadline Overview
SPEAKER SUPPORT LIMITED TO H SCREEN
This is when speaker support graphics are created in and played back off of the Keynote Graphics system. This system is limited in output to the center H screen.
These assets are created and operated by Toy Robot.
Limiting Factors:
- Provides maximum flexibility in updates in the final hours prior to show.
- Changes in the final hours limited by Toy Robot’s human bandwidth and rehearsal considerations below.
- Need to be aware that changes to content internal to a given slide is the least problematic type of change in the final hours. All changes in the final hours need to be alerted to the show caller.
- If slides are ADDED/CUT/ORDER CHANGED the updates need to be rehearsed dry with show crew to ensure show flow remains unaffected.
SPEAKER SUPPORT FULL MULTI SCREEN
This is when inside of a speaker’s presentation we switch to a full screen playback with a MOS still or movie taking over any screens beyond the center “H” screen. We achieve this by switching playback from the Keynote system to the Disguise media server.
These assets are created by Toy Robot and directly delivered to the screens team for programming and implementation.
Limiting Factors:
- If files are NEW we need to be able to rehearse with full show operations personnel.
- If files are an UPDATE we are able to QC internal to screens team and no added rehearsal is needed.
- Files are considered movie files and adhere to final delivery deadline. Files must be received and ingested by Monday 10/28 by 9PM.
SPEAKER SUPPORT VIDEOS WITH AUDIO
Any video assets played internal to a speaker’s presentation need to be passed thru the audio post workflow. This would include demo videos with corresponding stereo or 5.1 audio.
These assets are created by 3rd party content creators/agencies etc.
Video assets are delivered to either Core Studios or Turner to be formatted and QCed for use in the live venue.
The audio assets are packaged by Core Studios and mixed and formatted by Warner Brothers Post audio for use in the live venue.
Limiting Factors:
- If files are NEW we need to be able to rehearse with full show operations personnel.
- If files are an UPDATE we are able to QC internal to screens team and no added rehearsal is needed
- Video/Audio files must be delivered to Core/Audio post workflow by Monday 10/28 by 8AM
- Files are considered movie files and adhere to final delivery deadline. Files must be received and ingested by Monday 10/28 by 9PM.
TIER 1 & TIER 2 VIDEO ROLLS
All video rolls for T1 and T2 videos are comprised of 7 deliverables.
- 1-Master video that hits all canvases
- 5- Stereo pair audio assets
- 1- Hold Slate with embedded L&R audio
Tier 2 videos are created by 3rd party content creators/agencies and are delivered to Turner Studios as a 16x9 video. Turner Studios team places the delivered asset in a full screen template and creates atmospheric scenic extension to support the 16x9 cut into the entirety of the set and exports final assets for final delivery to screens team.
Tier 1 videos are either cut by 3rd party creators or Core Studios. In both cases files get passed thru Core Studios for final formatting before final delivery to screens team
Tier 1 and 2 audio get a primary mix by 3rd party then packaged by Core Studios before being passed onto Warner Brothers Audio Post for final mix and passed onto the screens team.
Limiting Factors:
- If files are NEW we need to be able to rehearse with full show operations personnel.
- If files are an UPDATE we are able to QC internal to screens team and no added rehearsal is needed.
- Tier 2 assets to Turner Studios need to be in the update pipeline by Saturday 10/26 by 7PM.
- Tier 1 assets to Core Studios for reformatting and transcode need to be in the update pipeline by Friday 10/25 by 7PM.
- Tier 1 assets for full multi screen creative by Core is piece by piece discussions worked out with stakeholders.
- Files must be received from Core, Turner Studios and Warner Brothers Post and ingested by Monday 10/28 by 9PM.
Final File delivery deadline to screens team is Monday 10/28 by 9PM. Please be aware that all upstream deadlines to Core Turner Studios and WB Post are guidelines and actual throughput timeline will be affected by the volume of assets being requested to pass thru a studio. The entirety of the schedule is constructed on making updates as accommodating and flexible as possible.
